Welcome to my blogg

Hey friends and fellow learning revolutionaries,

Welcome to my 'Get Smart blogg'. The purpose of this blogg is to document my thoughts and journey as I go on the campaign trail to kick start a global movement for self-improvement. My message is simple - Get Smart! However its implications are quite profound, because it raises other social, economic and political issues. In particular, I want to address some of the discrepancies, disparities and blatant inequalities that plague the devloped and developing world. I also want to ask some poignant questions like:

  • Why is the income gap between the rich and the poor getting wider?
  • Is there any hope for people who fail at school?
  • Is it possible to fail in formal eduction and yet succeed in success education?
  • Is there any real alternative to self-help? I think not, unless you like the idea of total dependency.
The main aim of this blogg is to start a meanigful discussion about self-devlopment as it relates to success education, financial education and entrepreneurial education। I believe we are at the dawn of a new revolution; one that empowers ordinary people to achieve extraordinary success through self-development. Typically in a revolution, the poor rise up and sieze the assetts of the rich. Today, the main assett of the rich is knowledge. Thats right! The reason why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer is that the rich know things that the poor and middle classes do not! This new revolution is all about seizing the knowledge assetts of the rich, so that we can create our own success. I call it the learning revolution because for the first time in history, millions of us are determined to find out HOW we can create our own wealth; HOW we can achieve health and fitness; HOW we can experience fulfilling relationships and HOW we can live the life of our dreams.

If you are one of those learning revolutionairies who wants to know HOW and are committed to re-educating yourself in those critical areas that matter to you, then I invite you to join the discussion and post your comments on my blogg।

Hi Wayne, I applaud you in your efforts to redress the balance between the haves and the have nots. It is long overdue. I am definetly looking forward to attending the launch of your Get Smart programme on 28 March 08. I am particularly intrigued by your speed reading technology as I believe this to be key to my ambition to be better educated. I bought a programme many years ago by the then holder of the Guinnese World record on speed reading but despite many hours of effort was never able to acquire the skill. I am hoping to have better success with your technique.
Keep up the good work.

Wayne,
I too applaud you!
I can't help thinking that there are hidden governmental agendas and tactics that are being used to keep what they think is a balance in society but in reality it's those agendas that keep people in their social groups and potentially obstruct those who have the ability and the desire to achieve more. obviously i have no proof of this and it's purely my opinion but I have definitely seen a distinct change in how schools are being allowed to positively influence the moral behaviour of our young people - and it's not good!

looking forward to the launch.

Hi wayne,
I think one of the biggest problems a lot of people have when it comes to sccess issues is fear and change.
